If reports are to be believed, superinjuction-loving Man U man Ryan Giggs’ forays into the bosom of one particular family member is the reason why the 37-year-old is at the centre of a new scandal.
According to the News Of The World, Giggs enjoyed an eight-year on-off relationship with Natasha, the wife of his brother Rhodri.
The two met at a nightclub in 2003. At the time the Wales International’s wife was four months pregnant with their first child.
The relationship is said to have ended four months later, when Natasha met Rhodri, but it was rekindled again at various points over the years since.
Betrayal
A ‘friend’ told the British tabloid that Natasha had said: “I knew it was wrong. It’s the worst possible betrayal. I tried to end it but my relationship with Ryan was like an addiction.
“Anything he said, I did. If he wanted me to drop everything to meet him, I would. I just couldn’t say no.
“He instigated it all. It was all on his terms. There were constant calls, constant texts, constant meetings. But Ryan was never romantic with me. He never told me he loved me. It was all about sex.”
The latest revelation comes only weeks after Giggs was named in the British House of Commons by MP John Hemmings as the man who was alleged to have had an affair with Welsh Big Brother contestant Imogen Thomas.
Giggs had obtained a court order to keep the story out of the press, but rumours of the affair had persisted on Twitter for several weeks, making a farce out of the gagging order.
