Sergio Aguero took to both Twitter and Facebook last night to apologise to David Luiz for his rash challenge at the weekend.

The Chelsea defender was the victim of a raking challenge from the Argentinian during their FA Cup semi-final defeat to City on Sunday, with most observers feeling that the striker was incredibly lucky to escape any serious punishment from the referee. Luiz stated after the game that if the roles were reversed, he would apologise for such a rash two-footed lunge.
The sharp-shooter has had time to mull over the criticism and tweeted the Brazilian last night to apologise for his actions, which was accepted by the long-haired defender, so they are all pally-pally again.
The response from the Chelsea man seems a little over-the-top to us, but at least now they are best friends after such a public incident at Wembley.
Aguero also posted the same message on his Facebook page to show just how sorry he was for his out-of-character moment of madness.
The Argentina international will face no action over the challenge after the Football Association confirmed referee Chris Foy had seen at least part of the incident and acted on it during the match, meaning the governing body were unable to deal with it retrospectively.
The striker showing he is both lucky and contrite.
