Sky Italia are reporting that Fernando Torres will join Inter Milan on loan in the summer, with the Italian side asking Chelsea to pay a portion of his £5m-a-year salary.
Torres has largely flopped at Stamford Bridge since joining the London club from Liverpool in January 2011, and has scored just four goals in 23 appearances this season.
Jose Mourinho wants to overhaul his entire Chelsea front line and Inter will happily take the 30-year-old off their hands, but will need the Blues to partially fund any move.
Inter will not be playing in the Champions League next season but reporter Gianluca Di Marzio believes that Torres is open to trying his luck away from the Premier League.
