Things are looking far rosier in the garden for Sunderland supporters these days, so well they might be in good spirits.

Back-to-back victories under new boss Paolo Di Canio has lifted the mood greatly, and considering the first of those was a 3-0 away win at rivals Newcastle, well things couldn’t have started any better for the mad-cap Italian.
That derby win led to unruly scenes on Tyneside, with one Newcastle supporter punching Bud, a police horse in the city centre.
Mackem supporters couldn’t let that type of incident go, and yesterday there were a number of them spotted wearing horse heads and eyeing up policemen to poke fun at the act of stupidity.
Neigh doubt about it, well played lads!
