According to a new survey, men know more about the underside of their cars than they do about the underside of their own bodies…

The results from a survey, which asked men to locate certain parts of their body, revealed that 90 per cent of blokes know where the dipstick is in their engine, but only 50 per cent knew where some of the most important organs in the body are.

Nine in ten lads could find the dipstick (of their car, that is) and 89 per cent could easily find the radiator according to research by the Lloydspharmacy Online Doctor – click here to find out more about it. However, only 6 per cent of the men questioned could accurately identify the key reasons for erectile dysfunction.

Over 1,500 men were surveyed and shockingly, one in 12 men thought some of their key sex organs were found in their ears. They certainly weren’t thinking with their heads…

Dr Tom Brett, sexual health expert at Lloydspharmacy Online Doctor, said: “We all know that two of the most important things for many men are their sex life and their car.

“If the car’s not performing properly, men are usually pretty confident that they can get under the bonnet and solve the problem.

“But when it comes to the mechanics of their sex organs, men are clearly less likely to spot a potential problem.”
