
The AIB Startup Academy has revealed its exclusive shortlist of startups
11 of the 22 companies will win a place on an eight-week academy programme.
The AIB Startup Academy is in its second year and has now decided on its shortlist of 22 companies to compete for a place on the coveted AIB Startup Academy.
Following on from its incredibly successful first year, the Startup Academy attracted 400 applicants from various business sectors, which was then shortened to 60, before the final 22 was decided.
These 22 exclusive startups will now present for five minutes in front of a panel of judges from AIB and The Irish Times next Thursday, Feb 4th, in The Irish Times building on Tara Street in Dublin.
While 10 businesses will be selected outright by the panel, a wildcard 11th pick will be chosen by JOE.ie and Her.ie readers.
11 of these 22 business will win a place on the intensive eight-week AIB Startup Academy programme, where one very lucky company will come out on top and receive a prize worth €250,000, comprising of; a cash injection, advertising and marketing spend, and a range of other financial and expertise support.
There will also be a second-placed prize this year.
