Neymar won’t be too pleased with these…

The modern day footballer looks like a cross between a hipster, a tattoo artist and someone in the background of a Kanye West music video. To sum up, a lot of them look like prats.

Brazil national team manager Dunga has noticed the annoying trend and has decided to do something about it. The solid, hard-working former defensive midfielder has told his players to stop wearing earrings, caps and flip-flops while on international duty. Dead right.

Dunga has sent out a letter to all of the players and has got the message across that he’s not banning the items, but if players ignore the new rules, they might be excluded from future squads.

He also went on to point out that he expects players to sing the national anthem before games and that they would be held responsible for paying their own phone bills and excess baggage costs.

The Samba Party doesn’t look like so much fun now. Neymar will be gutted.

Hat-tip to The Guardian.
