After a fairly mad week in the world of Luis Suarez and Liverpool, here’s a suitably surreal end to it, provided by The Corrigan Brothers. You may remember the lads as the band behind the unforgettable ‘There’s No One As Irish as Barack Obama’. Since the they have continued to produce tunes on topical events at a fairly high rate and the ‘bite-gate’ incident at Anfield has caught their eye.
To the tune of ‘The Wild Rover’ they have penned a song that is definitely catchy, but when the chorus goes ‘should they make Luis Suarez play in a muzzle’ we suspect that it won’t win them many Liverpool fans.
