If the rumours are true then it just goes to show that you can’t keep a good dirty dog down.

Following a story in today’s The Sun, it seems that everyone’s favourite Rudge Park Comprehensive boys are back for a sequel to 2011’s highly successful film, The Inbetweeners.

Will (Simon Bird), Simon (Joe Thomas), Neil (Blake Harrison) and Jay (James Cartwright) are suppposedly back on for an Australia-bound backpacking sequel which means we can expect plenty of ‘Down Under,’ ‘Bush’ and ‘Marmite-covered-Geelong-Tittybong-boomerang’ references.

Trust us, we’re pretty sure that’s a sex thing.

The news doesn’t come as too much of a surprise as the four stars have given recent interviews where they’ve talked of their desire to make a sequel so that they can  make millions of pounds making penis jokes thank their loyal fans for their support over the years.

An incredibly vague sounding “source” told The Sun that “It wasn’t easy for any of the guys involved to call it a day after the last film. They were a tight-knit family and really missed each other when it all came to an end.

“The writers, Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, have been knocking ideas around for a while and came up with something they thought would be good enough to maintain the high standards they have set. They never thought all the lads would be up for coming back so soon as they have become big stars in their own right.”

So there you have it Bumders.
