According to the German press, not only is Jose Mourinho coming back to the Stamford Bridge, but he has a fantastic striker already signed up too.
Last night wasn’t a great night for Jose Mourinho. He watched his Real Madrid team get thumped 4-1 by Borussia Dortmund and his hopes of winning the Champions League at a third club now hang by a thread, at least for now.
But while he was in Germany somebody somewhere got in toch with German tabloid Bild and spilled a big story on the Special One’s future.
Bild claim today that Jose is ‘almost certain’ to return to Chelsea this summer and he will have a new, and very expensive, toy too.
Bild also report that Roman Abramovich will have a “special welcome gift” for him in the shape of Atletico Madrid striker Falcao. The fee is reported to be €60million.
Bild are the paper that broke the Mario Gotze to Bayern story, which turned out to be spot on, so we reckon this tale is a step up or two from the usual football rumour.
If true, it is definitely great news for Chelsea but it is probably bad news for the rest of the Premier League.
