If you had to use the M50 for any reason this morning then you probably got stuck in what has to be one of the worst tailbacks the road has ever seen.
There were reports this morning that a tailback on the M50 stretched for a whopping 19km… The M50 itself is only 45km from end to end, so we can only imagine what the road must have looked like from above.

Thankfully, the traffic, and the weather, is slowly dying down, but there are still some areas of flooding on the M50 and motorists are being urged to drive with care.
