Peter Casey is still a little sore that the talented Flemenstar was taken to a different trainer earlier this year, though it has led to one hell of a headline in today’s paper.
The talented eight-year-old horse won three Grade One events when in the care of Casey, but owner Stephen Curran decided in September to give his star performer to Tony Martin for “a change of scenery”.
Casey was naturally more than a little disappointed with the decision and after giving an interview recently, it is clear that he is just a little bitter about Flemenstar.

Flemenstar was an unexpected withdrawal through injury yesterday afternoon for this afternoon’s Grade One John Durkan Memorial Chase, not that we suspect Casey will shed too many tears over it.
