No need to move from the couch this evening with a mix of drama, comedy and sporting goodness on the box to satisfy all tastes.
Main Event: Breaking Bad, TG4, 11.05pm
The many, many fans of the show are anxiously counting down the days until the second half of the final series in the summer and those who have been following it on TG4 will finally catch up with everyone else this evening.
In tonight’s episode, Walt gets tough on anyone who thinks might bring him down while Hank comes across a potentially huge piece of information.
Sporting Pick: Championship Play-Off, Leicester v Watford, Sky Sports One, 7.30pm
With nearly everything put to bed in the Premier League at the top and bottom of the table it is to the Championship that football fans will look to for excitement for the rest of the season across the channel and thankfully, the play-offs rarely fail to disappoint.
Watford will be looking to bounce back from a traumatic final day of the season at the weekend, while Leicester, with our own Sean St. Ledger in their ranks, will be seeking to capitalise on their opponents’ vulnerability and build on their own momentum having only clinched a place in the play-offs with a dramatic victory over Nottingham Forest.
Movie Pick: You, Me and Dupree, RTE Two, 9.30pm
When a laid back singleton played by Owen Wilson moves in with his newly married best friend (Matt Dillon) and his hot wife (Kate Hudson), it’s pretty predictable that things are going to go awry and that some unfortunate attractions are going to develop.
Thankfully, Hudson, Dillon and particularly Wilson ensure that while it’s in no way a classic, it’s acceptable comedy fare and there are plenty of laughs to be had along the way.
