Main Event: Sex Story – 50 Shades of Grey, Channel 4, 10pm

Sex Story is a ‘Fifty Shades of Grey Documentary’ exploring the phenomenon of EL James’s erotic novel, which is the UK’s fastest-selling paperback of all time. Faster than the bible? Yes, faster than the bible… The programme examines the sociological and cultural effects that Fifty Shades of Grey is having on the UK, with visits to a spanking class for novices and an S&M couple who have had contracts for sex drawn up for each other. Psychologist Pamela Stephenson, Belle de Jour author Brooke Magnanti and members of a North Yorkshire book club offer their views. Not that you’ll be interested in what they have to say…

Sporting Pick: Serbia v Ireland, Setanta Ireland, 7.15pm

Tonight, for our sporting pick we have Serbia v Republic of Ireland. Kick-off starts at 7.45pm and coverage of the international friendly at the Stadion Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade will be brought to you by Setanta Ireland. It’s just a friendly, so it will be interesting to see how the lads line out seeing as the Euros are far behind them.

Movie Pick: Mystic River, RTE1, 9.35pm

The murder of a teenager leaves her heartbroken father determined to exact revenge on the killer. However, as police and family members conduct their investigations, suspicion falls rather too close to home. A little too close some might say… Drama, directed by Clint Eastwood and featuring Oscar-winning performances from Sean Penn and Tim Robbins. With Kevin Bacon, Laura Linney and Laurence Fishburne.

On-Demand Pick: Cold Feet

Tonight’s UPC On-Demand pick is a real ‘put the feet up’ choice as we take a look at Cold Feet.
