Sporting Pick: Champions League – Chelsea vs. Valencia, TV3, 7.30pm

Chelsea v Valencia, kick-off 7.45pm. All the action from the matchday six Group E encounter at Stamford Bridge, where the Blues need a win or a goalless draw to reach the last 16. The sides shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture at the Mestalla, with Frank Lampard giving the Blues the lead, before the Spaniards equalised with a late Roberto Soldado penalty after substitute Salomon Kalou handled in the area. However, the Londoners will expect to avoid another late setback this evening, having beaten Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 and thrashed Genk 5-0 in their previous home games in the group.
