A friendly against America in the Aviva Stadium this November, you say? F**k yeah!

The FAI this evening confirmed that Jurgen Klinsmann’s USA side will make their way to Dublin for a friendly against the Boys in Green on Tuesday, November 18 at the Aviva Stadium.

The game falls only four days after Ireland’s Euro 2016 qualifier clash against Scotland at Celtic Park and should be a decent challenge for Martin O’Neill’s men considering the USA’s excellent showing at the World Cup in Brazil, where they went out after an extra-time defeat to Belgium in the last 16, a game in which Tim Howard was nigh on unbeatable in the USA goal.

The game completes the FAI’s season ticket package, which includes six games for the 2014/15 season. Ireland will take on Oman, Gibraltar, USA, Poland, Scotland and England as part of this year’s package. Season tickets start at just €138 for adults and €54 for kids.
