Video: Aaron Ramsey takes not celebrating to a whole new level after great header against Cardiff

Loads of players have refused to celebrate after scoring goals against their former clubs, but Aaron Ramsey almost looked angry after opening the scoring for Arsenal against Cardiff today.

Loads of players have refused to celebrate after scoring goals against their former clubs, but Aaron Ramsey almost looked angry after opening the scoring for Arsenal against Cardiff today.

In fairness to Ramsey, he has more of a connection with Cardiff City than the vast majority of players who have refused to celebrate against their former clubs in recent years; Ramsey grew up just outside Cardiff, he played with the Bluebirds as a schoolboy before joining Arsenal and he went back to the club on loan a couple of seasons ago.

Even still, he made an extra effort not to look pleased after expertly heading Mesut Ozil’s cross to the net to put the Gunners ahead in the first half at the Cardiff City stadium and such is Ramsey’s status amongst the Cardiff fans that some of them even applauded what was a pretty lovely goal.
