Andrea Pirlo and Leonardo Bonucci had enough time to stop off and toss the pigskin around on their preseason tour of the States
On their preseason tour of America, two of Juve and Italian football’s biggest stars stopped by Stanford training ground to have a go at playing American football. Despite what we thought though, they turned out to be fairly rubbish, except for the bit with the kicking.
What we’re most disappointed with in this video is not the rubbish soundtrack or poor acting, which is practically mandatory for YouTube videos, but the fact that Andrea Pirlo was the wide receiver while Leonardo Bonucci played quarterback.
If there’s one man in world football who you’d pick as a quarterback if you’re playing gridiron it’s Pirlo. Well, him or Xabi Alonso.
