One Pittsburgh Pirates fan put his over-sized glove to good use last night with a catch that any of his idols would have been proud of.

The supporter looked chuffed with himself, and well he might be, showing concentration, skill and a strong wrist to put the ridiculous looking glove to good use with a fantastic catch, with one of th Pirates players watching in admiration.
Technically, it was a foul ball, but let’s not get bogged down with the technicalities and admire this for what it was. A fan getting his moment in the sun.
To complete the move, the fan then taunted St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Carlos Beltran with the ball in hand, though the Cardinals had the last laugh, running out 10-6 winners.
