Manny Machado had to be stretchered off the field in the Orioles match up against the Rays last night and it looks like he could be out for quite some time.
Baltimore Orioles infielder Manny Machado, 21, blew out his knee while playing against the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg, Florida, last night.
Machado’s cleat clipped the side of the base as he was running past and this caused his leg to twist inwards. Many are speculating that it could be a serious ACL injury, which could see him out of action for up to six months.

Machado’s Orioles would eventually go on to lose the match 4-5 to the Rays.
