At a pre-game ceremony in an emotional Fenway Park, David ‘Big Papi’ Ortiz got caught up in the moment and cursed on air

It has been an emotional week in Boston after the recent events of the marathon that shocked the city and the world, and that emotion spilled over a bit when David ‘Big Papi’ Ortiz took to the mic at Fneway.
In case you missed it, this happened on Saturday night, and Ortiz was addressing the crowd at a pre-game ceremony when he said “this is our f**king city”, obviously caught up in the moment.
The sell-out crowd of 37,000 loved it though, and while some people were concerned with the language, the head of the Federal Communications Commission Julius Genachowski (the guys who make sure nothing too salty gets broadcast on air) tweeted out that they backed Big Papi too.
Boston strong.
