When it looks like this play is completely dead, Mahe Fonua pops up and somehow keeps it alive for the try
Melbourne Storm took on Canberra Raiders yesterday in the NRL in Australia, and this fantastic try came in that game from the combination of Will Chambers and Mahe Fonua.
Storm’s Ryan Hoffman hits a kick through the line that bounces and looks like it’s on its way out, but Fonua hasn’t given up, as he leaps in the air, throws the ball backwards before it bounces out and manages to find Will Chambers, who simply touches down for a fantastic try.
If ever there was a great example of why you should never give up on a lost ball, this is it.
