Shot in January, this might be the most dramatic Cliffs of Moher video we’ve ever seen. Simply stunning.
Without fail a trip to the Cliffs of Moher is a great experience. If you are lucky it will be a beautiful clear day and you can see the expanse of cliff face perfectly. And even on a bad day the waves crashing into them, and the sheer power of the Atlantic, is impressive.
But we’ve never seen this before. Posted on the excellent Skies of Ireland Facebook page, it is a short clip of fog billowing over the edge of the cliffs and down to the ocean.
Caused by the phenomenon of cold air sinking it is simply moisture-laden air following the force of gravity once it goes over the cliff edge but it looks spectacular.
