Fulham finally decided to sack manager Felix Magath last week after losing six of the club's opening seven games in the Championship which leaves the West Londoners rock bottom of the table.
Since Magath's departure, a few unusual stories have emerged about his management style and methods but none of them will top his advice for centre back Brede Hangeland, who at the time, was recovering from a leg injury.
We all know sports science has come a long way in the last decade but Magath is old school. The German isn't into that sort of new-age lark so his remedy for Hangeland's injury is something a little different and also very weird.
