Anichebe added a second to really kill off QPR, who now have 17 defeats to their name this season, and this more or less completely condemns Queens Park to the drop.
Everton pulled five points clear of Merseyside rivals Liverpool in the table, which will be good news for the Toffees fans who are looking for bragging rights, but even better news will be the fact that they’re keeping their push on for a top four finish.
