Ahead of the release of Class of ’92 this weekend, one of the stars of the show, David Beckham, reflected on a time he calls the happiest of his professional football career.

You might well be sick of promotional clips for Class of ’92 at this stage, but they’ll soon come to an end once the documentary about the famous Manchester United youth team is released this weekend.

David Beckham, of course, is one of the six main stars of the show and in a promotional interview for ITN ahead of the movie’s release, he reflected on his time at Manchester United and recalls with fondness what it was like to be successful with a group of friends that had all progressed at the same time.

Beckham also admits to being one of the many victims of Paul Scholes’ laser-like accuracy while taking a wee on the training ground and reveals that him doing likewise to Nicky Butt was “the worst thing I ever did” and given some of the anecdotes already emanating from the film ahead of its release, we imagine that Butt’s revenge was sweet and not necessarily suitable for repeating in these pages.
