We’ve seen monster trucks and trophy trucks doing backflips before, but we’ve never seen a car doing one… until now.
One of the greatest battles of the 21st century has been the battle of the energy drinks. Red Bull struck a major blow last year by pushing an Austrian bloke out of a massive space balloon, but now Monster are fighting back with the world’s first car backflip, using a Mini Countryman.
According to the manufacturer, it’s ‘the world’s first successful car backflip’ and even though we’ve seen people pulling off the stunt in four wheeled machines in the past (see here), we have to say, we’re pretty impressed with this one.
The Seth Green look-a-like behind the wheel is the Frenchman and Rally Raid world champion, Guerlain Chicherit. The stunt was shot using an 8-meter snow ramp in the southeast of France and according to Mini, Chicherit pulled it off not once, but twice.
