Video: Gary Neville and Thierry Henry teamed up to take the mick out of Jamie Redknapp last night
That’s some top, top, piss-taking right there.
Arsenal legend Henry was a special guest on Sky’s Champions League coverage last night and teamed up with Neville to do some analysis of Arsenal on the touchscreen that the Neviller has become so adept at using on Monday Night Football.
Elaborating on a theme of midfield players needing to defend, Neville and Henry dug out a clip of a classic Henry goal against Spurs at Highbury from a few years back when Redknapp was guilty of laziness in the midfield and allowing Henry to cut a swathe right down the middle before applying a cool finish for one of his best ever goals for the Gunners.
Knowing what was coming, Henry had a good giggle to himself when Neville cued up the clip and Redknapp did look a little bit embarrassed but took a similar view to Roy Keane on the famous Ryan Giggs goal against Arsenal when decrying his teammates for not taking Henry out.
Top bantz, as the kids might say.
