Louis van Gaal started his first day as manager of Manchester United yesterday and William Hill commissioned a brilliant portrait of him outside the National Football Museum made entirely out of tulips.
It consisted of 25,000 tulips and was 18ft by 12ft in size. Check out this excellent time-lapse video showing how it was made:
Manchester United fans will be hoping that Van Gaal brings the glory days back to Old Trafford and doesn’t prove to be, ahem, a tulip.
