Bear in mind that we mean this as a genuine question because no doubt there’s a few that would give this pitch, the Cordal GAA pitch in Kerry, a run for its money.
Earlier this week, you may have spotted a picture on the site of a player from Cordal GAA covered from head to toe in shite during a Kerry league game with Glenbeigh/Glencar at the weekend, while reader John Culloty posted us in a picture from an under-16 game that took place on the same pitch on Monday.

While those two pictures illustrated the shocking condition of the pitch, it was further highlighted in a video that has come to light, which was made to highlight the need to raise funds for the redevelopment of the surface as soon as possible.
You can literally hear every squish from the surface as the narrator of the video takes each step and in fairness to him, his passion for the cause is clear for all to hear.
To that end, the club have announced a monster draw that will take place later this year, with a first prize of €5,000, a number of other great prizes and entertainment to be provided by The Wolfe Tones.
For more information on the draw click here and if any of you have evidence, whether it’s pictures, videos or artist’s impressions – we’re not fussy – feel free to send them our way to [email protected] or on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
