During a recent hockey match between the San Jose Sharks and the Phoenix Coyotes two of the players became entangled in what looked like a very dodgy yoga position.

We’re not really sure what either player was trying to do here, but whatever it was, it looked painful… well, painfully awkward.

Adam Burish and Oliver Ekman-Larsson are the two players in question and it looks as though Burish (in white for the Sharks) actually tried to lift Ekman-Larsson over his head with a WWE-style suplex.

However, you can see that Burish has second thoughts (WWE-style suplexes usually come with a 5-minute penalty in hockey) as he just leaves Ekman-Larsson sitting on his shoulders in one seriously weird position. Even the ref doesn’t know what to do.

We’re not sure what we’d call it, but we think the commentator calls it best with the Downwards Desert Dog…
