Meet Damo and Ivor (or Andy Quirke as both characters, and Doctor Strangelove too). Their new song Everybody’s Drinkin’ has, well, everybody talking at the minute.
The song and video debuted on the Republic of Telly on Monday night and has since been likened to the Rubberbandits’ Horse Outside music video which became a YouTube sensation and ran Matt Cardle very close for Christmas number one.
Everybody’s Drinkin’ features two contrasting Dublin stereotypes and their drinking and partying habits. It’s funny as hell, maybe not as much as the production by the ‘Bandits, but it’s a good bet to become hugely popular all over the country in the coming days and weeks.
