In what was a thrilling game at Richmond Park in Inchicore, Killian Brennan slotted home a beauty of a penalty to secure the three points.

Sligo Rovers saw their undefeated run come to an end tonight in Inchicore after losing 2-0, but the goal that sealed the win for St. Patrick’s Athletic was a bit special.
The fairly soft penalty was awarded by referee Neil Doyle, who will want to forget the last fifteen minutes og his game tonight, after Evan McMillan seemed to win the ball fairly in the box before both players tumbled to the ground.
Killian Brennan didn’t have to be asked twice to step up to the spot however, and this beautiful Panenka finish showed a player who had real confidence.
Rovers were poor on the night, but Brennan stole the show, and the man of the match award, with this beauty.
