The ex-Beatle doesn’t REALLY get how this football thing works.
Luis Suarez ‘interviewed’ Paul McCartney in the run-up to the former Beatle’s show in Montevideo, Uruguay, this weekend and it was a pretty cringeworthy piece of YouTubery.
No criticism to Suarez, you understand, as he seems to get into the spirit of things despite clearly being spoonfed the questions by an unseen PR lackey with a cattle-prod.
What makes this so uncomfortable is McCartney’s clear lack of interest in all things football, and when he finishes off by chanting “Liverpool! Liverpool! Everton!” you know he would rather be anywhere else.
