We can’t say we’re surprised that it takes a robot controlled by lightning speeds to get the better of Leo Messi.

Famed for their innovative technology and love of gadgets, the Japanese have created a robotic goalkeeper that is operated remotely to move at lightning speeds. And who better to test it out than the man who seems to get the better of every human goalkeeper he comes across.
Filmed obviously before he suffered his recent injury, the footage was recently broadcast on Japanese TV.
The Barca striker saw his first attempt saved before missing the target completely with his second strike before eventually drawing 2-2 with the robot by the end.
We always suspected it would take a super-human effort to foil the four-time Ballon d’Or recipient.
