We’re self confessed nerds when it comes to this series of games, but we’re not alone. The last two Arkham titles have been critically acclaimed as well as pure fun to play, and essentially, you get to fulfil your childhood dream of being Batman, which is incredible.
Gmaing site Gameinformer.com has today announced that Warner Bros Games Monteral will take up the mantle and making a game which is currently going under the title ‘Batman: Arkham Origins’.
It won’t tell the beginning of the Batman story or of Arkham asylum, but will look back to a time when a fresh faced Batman took on a huge challenge against eight of the world’s best assassins in Gotham, all on Christmas Eve, which is unlucky for the Caped Crusader, he can’t even get one night off.
Needless to say, we’re pretty excited about what’s going to happen here, especially since they’re setting it in Gotham for the first time, so check out what the lads at WB Games Montreal are having about the title
Next-gen consoles were not mentioned for the release, but with the PS4 due out at the end of the year, pretty close to this title, so there might be some crossover.
