There will be some seriously embarrassed Hibs fans today after they were seen streaming out of Hampden Park thirty minutes in when their Hibernian side was 3-0 down to Falkirk in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

An extremely young Falkirk team raced into a three goal lead within a half hour with goals through Craig Sibbald, Jay Fulton and Blair Alston, which saw Hibs fans walking out of the stadium.

Fenlon’s team were clearly not at the races in the first half, but came out of the gates in the second to pull off an incredible comeback, and by all accounts, the team were on the end of a real rollocking from the Dub during the break.

Alex Harris scored in the 51st minute to make it 3-1, but Hibs then missed a penalty after McGovern made a brilliant double save first from Leigh Griffiths and then from Eoin Doyle. Both would more than make up for that later on.

Griffiths scored in the 78th minute, and at 3-2 with just over ten minutes to go, it still looked improbably, until Irishman Eoin Doyle smashed one into the bottom corner from distance.

The winner in extra-time however, was the pick of the bunch, and an incredible strike from Griffiths, who showed no ill-effects of having missed the penalty.

After an epic game like that, Hibs would be forgiven for thinking that their name might be on the trophy this year.

The fans who left before the break however, were too vocal for their own good on Twitter, and have been getting well and truly trolled for their troubles.

Unsurprisingly, Brad no longer has a Twitter account.

Hat-tip to Elaine Hayes for sending the picture in on Twitter
