Strange as it still is that somebody as media-shy as Paul Scholes was throughout his career has linked up with Paddy Power as part of a World Cup promotional campaign, it’s actually proved pretty interesting so far.
He hasn’t held back any of his opinions in any of his blogs to date and fresh from revealing his favourite biscuit last week, today he showcased that he hasn’t lost any of his accuracy since retiring when whacking an Italian fan on the head with a pin-point strike from long range in the latest video for the bookmaker.
Granted, it could well have taken him 100 takes to land it there but somehow, considering it’s Scholes and considering how ridiculously accurate he was during his playing days, we doubt it.
