How dare he?
Football fans traditionally associate Real Madrid and Portugal defender Pepe with being something of a master of the dark arts on the pitch, but he showed that he can pull off a trick or two in Real Madrid training this week.
And it wasn’t just any mere mortal who Pepe managed to embarrass with said bit of trickery either, but his compatriot, current Ballon d’Or winner and one of the best players in the world Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s not used to being on the receiving end of this sort of thing.
Granted, Ronaldo might not have known an awful lot about it as he didn’t seem to be paying much attention, but Pepe was certainly pleased about it and why wouldn’t he be?
It’s good but we’ve seen better examples of nutmegs at training, haven’t we Juan Mata?
