Video: Pitch invader takes the worst penalty kick of all time, but it leaves players in stitches
Everton managed to beat Juventus 6-5 in a penalty shootout yesterday, but not before a pitch invader stole a penalty kick (and the show) from midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah.
This was probably the easiest save Tim Howard has ever had to make in his life, mainly because it was just some random bloke from the crowd that was kicking the ball at him...
A pitch invader wearing a Birdman hat ran out onto the pitch at the AT&T Park in San Francisco yesterday and kicked the ball straight into his arms.
In fairness, it looks like everyone, including Asamoah and the Juve bench, had a good laugh about the incident and the pitch invader jogged off happy as Larry. The win now puts Everton into the semifinals of the inaugural International Champions Cup.
