The goal was so good, Keane’s manager Bruce Arena bowed down in awe…

Last night was the big LA derby between Galaxy and Chivas, the SuperClasico as they call it in the MLS. In the end, it was a comfortable 3-0 win for the Galaxy, with Gyasi Zardes scoring twice.

But what we really care about was the introduction of our own Robbie Keane just before the hour mark, and he scored a peach of a goal in his short spell on the pitch.

Picking the ball up just outside the attacking third, the Dubliner nutmegged a defender before chipping the ball perfectly over the advancing keeper. It was supreme coolness from Keane, and a great sign ahead of Ireland’s first Euro 2016 qualifier next week.

Skip to 4.00 in the below video to see it and keep watching to see LA Galaxy manager Bruce Arena bow down to acknowledge just how good Keane’s finish was.
