We are well used to footballers appearing in strange TV ads, but Shinji Kagawa stars alongside a talking dolphin and goalscoring dog.

For some reason, there seems to be an unwritten rule that if a footballer appears in an ad, it must be a) cringeworthy or b) ridiculous. This Japanese advert for Sotfbank, a telecommunications and Internet company, falls into the latter category.
In the ad, the United stalwart is struggling with his shooting (obviously filmed before his hat-trick against Norwich City), but other issues are playing on his mind.
Those being why his dad is a dolphin and why is uncle has been transformed into a goal scoring dog. No wonder he looked confused.
Hat-tip to 101gretagoals for the video.
