Shear class here from the Colombians…

The World Cup gets underway in just over a week and the entire planet is slowly getting football crazy. Speaking of crazy, the people in the small Colombian town of Nobia held a very special football match recently.

The hosted an epic battle between Colombia and Brazil on International Poncho Day but the players were not humans, no, they were sheep.

The locals didn’t take it lightly, they apparently trained the wooly-wonders for two weeks and they even had jerseys, shorts and boots in the colours of Colombia and Brazil.

JOE’s favourite part is the man awkwardly pulling the shorts up on star-striker Dolly…

An estimated 500 people showed up to watch the game and it was Colombia who won 4-3 in absolute cracker.

We don’t have any information on the goalscorers but we’re sure we spotted our favourite Colombian footballer Carlo Valderamaaa out there…

While obviously it’s a funny video, JOE doesn’t condone using animals in this sort of way, predicting results is fine though.
