There was a real twist in the tale of this baseball game as a squirrel interrupted play, which is fairly nuts.

While this Wichita State Shockers game against the Kansas Jayhawks took place earlier in the week, this video has only popped up on our radar today, but it is truly great.
Play was interrupted by a squirrel who came running on the field, possibly hoping that he might get a bit of game time, but Wichita State catcher Tyler Baker proved he’s got the right stuff for his position by catching the squirrel in his helmet.
According to the write up of the game on the Kansas team’s website, the squirrel was also woefully ignorant of the rules of baseball, as he ran the bases in the wrong order. He’s got some cheek.
