Video: The best example of a manager losing the rag you’ll see

Forget anything you’ve seen from Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho or other managers renowned for losing the rag on occasion; they don’t hold a candle to this crazy manager in Bulgaria.

Forget anything you’ve seen from Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho or other managers renowned for losing the rag on occasion; they don’t hold a candle to this crazy manager in Bulgaria.

Antoni Zdravkov was taking charge of Bulgarian side Botev Vratsa in their clash against CSKA Sofia yesterday and went apoplectic with rage over an incident which resulted in his side conceding a goal from the penalty spot and having a man sent off in the first half.

Botev defender Nikolay Marinov was given his marching orders for deliberately handling a goalbound shot after a scramble in the penalty area and when CSKA Sofia’s Michel tucked away the penalty, something clicked in Zdravkov’s head and he lost the plot on the touchline.

Taking the red and yellow cards from the referee, Zradkov tried and failed to rip them apart and had to be content with simply tossing them away.

He then went back to give more abuse to ref but was escorted away by the officials, although he did still find the time to remonstrate with a couple of policeman before eventually leaving the field.

Mad stuff Ted.

Thanks to the folks at 101 Great Goals for this one
