Belgrano and San Martin clashed in the Primera Division match on Saturday and San Martin striker Claudio Riano was involved in a poorly timed challenge with the goalkeeper.
He was running through on goal when Belgrano keeper Juan Carlos Olave came off his line and challenge for the ball, and by challenge we mean a rake down his mid-section.
We can see the marks on his leg afterwards, but it wouldn’t be the legs we’d be worried about if we were in Riano’s shoes.
Luckily he was back on his feet fairly sharpish, but it could have been a whole lot worse indeed.
