Neither of those things will surprise anyone familiar with either Toni Kroos or Cristiano Ronaldo.
It’s shaping up to be quite a season ahead for Real Madrid. Having won the Champions League last season, they only went and added two of the star performers at the World Cup – James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos – to an already star-studded squad and will take some beating this season.
German international Kroos seems to be settling in well judging by the above clip of a passing exercise at Real Madrid training, where he dictates the tempo and direction of the play while a frustrated Cristiano Ronaldo is left chasing shadows in the middle.
Eventually Ronaldo tires of all the chasing around and decides he has had enough, although he seemed to have a good joke with Kroos about it afterwards so it’s hardly up there with some of his more memorable strops from over the years.
So, Real Madrid are going to be quite good again this season, wha?
