Featuring a 70-yard run, six embarrassed defenders and a glorious dummy to fool the ‘keeper to cap off one of the best goals you’ll see all season.

Jason Puncheon, Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku all scored pretty special goals this weekend, but we can safely say that none of their efforts were even on a par with this effort from a player who plays several rungs below and from whom you may not hear of ever again. Unless he does something like this again, of course.

The player in question is one Quique Cubas of Spanish fourth division side Arosa SC, who, we suspect at least, scored the best goal he will ever score at the weekend when embarking on a run from well inside his own half and basically toying with several opposition players on his way to the other end.

Impressive as the run was, the coup de grace was the finish, when he fooled the goalkeeper with a ‘fake to shoot’ move that will be familiar to anyone who has played FIFA or Pro Evo over the years, before walking the ball into the net.

What’s the Spanish for ‘Tek a boo son?’
