As you may have heard over the last couple of days, the infamous vanishing spray from the World Cup is set to be used by referees in the Premier League next season.
Sky Sports went into a frenzy of excitement when they heard the news and decided that the whole idea of the spray wasn’t clear enough for viewers, they had to demonstrate the bad boy in action live on air.
This would have been fine, if the presenters had taken into account the time it takes for the spray to actually start to disintegrate. After spraying the disappearing foam onto some ‘grass’, the presenters realised that they wouldn’t be able to show the whole exciting process due to time restrictions.
In other words, it was completely pointless and in no small way embarrassing.
