Video: You simply have to see this truly incredible outside of the boot training ground goal from Japan

Remember that famous Roberto Carlos free-kick all those years back? Yeah, this is better.

Remember that famous Roberto Carlos free-kick all those years back? Yeah, this is better.

In fact, this goal is so good that we’re just a little bit sceptical that there might have been some camera trickery at play because it would take some skill and indeed, some man, to hit the ball with this amount of speed, swerve and accuracy all at the same time.

Our Japanese is just a little bit sketchy but from what we can gather, three players from FC Tokyo have gathered to try and recreate a goal scored in a popular Japanese comic called Captain Tsubasa, with defender Kosuke Ota responsible for the finishing touch.

The clip has garnered well over half a million YouTube views in just over a day and though we’ll admit to being a little doubtful of its authenticity having watched it over and over, it did literally cause our jaw to drop on first viewing.

What do you think? Real and incredibly brilliant, or fake… and still incredibly brilliant?
